Navy Pier

Chicago is known for a lot of things: Sears Tower, Wrigley Field or the famous Shedd Aquarium. However, there’s one more place that any tourist should go to, and that’s the Navy Pier.

The Pier was built during WWII and was initially used to train the Navy. Since the end of the war, it was turned into something of a tourist location. It’s now a location for food courts, a carnival, and a boat dock.

Although the best place to check out there is the Crystal Gardens. It contains 70 palm trees, an atrium enclosed with glass, kid’s rides, and dancing water fountains.
