Chesterton, a town in Westchester, Jackson and Liberty townships, Porter County, Indiana, was first incorporated in 1869 and has been an entryway to the Indiana Dunes State Park. At the 2000 census, its population is 10, 488 that significantly grows every summer as tourists from everywhere visit it annually. This place is most famous for its parks that has gained international exposure, natural lakes and wetlands, and it is also considered to be a golfer’s paradise. Its golf course has a world-class facility beautifully bounded with watershed preserve. Chesterton is also a hot spot and wonderful venue for antique, art and crafts, fresh flowers and plants.
