The White House

October 10th, 2009

The White House, located on 1600 Pensnsylvania Avenue in the District of Columbia (DC), is the official residence and work place of the president of the United States. The structure itself is built on white-painted Aquia sandstone in late Gregorian architectural style. It has been the executive residence of the POTUS (president of the US, that is!) since John Adams.

Aside from housing the president, the White House is also a major tourist attraction. However, due to recent security concerns, tours are limited. Groups of 10 or more may visit the White House and take a tour of the internal area, but background checks are done for visitors 14 years old or above.

Golfing at Yellowstone

Did you know that you can go golfing at Yellowstone! There are lots to do in this national park.

Besides golfing there are other things to do: mountain biking in nearby Teton Valley, skiing and snowboarding around during winter, and whitewater rafting in the Yellowstone River. There’s quite a lot of things to do so stay even after the geysers have done their thing.
