Everglades: Florida’s Mangrove Jungle

Everglades is a “Mangrove Jungle” that borders the Gulf of Mexico and the 10,000 islands. Fishing is popular here but visitors of all ages can find different activities.

There are a number of tours to go sightseeing and view the untouched wilderness and plentiful wildlife of the Everglades. A popular tour is by jet airboats where one will zip across the top of the water, enjoying the beauty and splendor of the Everglades.It is not only a huge swamp inhabited by alligators but a masterpiece of nature with its many kinds of wildlife and birds in their natural habitat.

Aside from that, activities like kayaking, bird watching and camping is also offered. There are plenty of nice accommodations around the area so visitors will not find a hard time looking for a place to stay.
