Shopaholics will surely love this destination! Located in the Twin Cities suburd of Bloomington, Minnesota is the Mall of America. It is a super-regional shopping mall which is the largest mall in terms of total enclosed floor area and the second largest enclosed mall in terms of retail space in the United States. It opened in 1992 and is owned and managed by the Triple Five Group.

In 2006, the mall received 40 million visitors. Aside from the usual shops and restaurants, it also has different attractions like the: Nickelodeon Universe, an amusement park, A.C.E.S. flight simulations, LEGO Imagination Center, NASCAR Silicon Motor Speedway, United Airlines Flight 93 memorial, 14-screen AMC movie theater, A wedding chapel (called Chapel of Love), A full 18 hole miniature golf course, Metropolitan Learning Alliance, an alternative High School, The River Church and the Underwater Adventures Aquarium. It is truly a one-stop shop for all your needs!
